24-7 PRAYER: 3 days in MARCH 2011

We recently ran 24-7 again over 3 days in March 2011, this time was very different to anything we had seen before. While the other times 24-7 had run where very much inner focused, looking at the church and building us up, this time saw a change - a change from looking inwards to looking outwards to looking outwards.

The scheme was based in a town centre property, an empty shop right in the main high street. People could see in during the day as they walked past and were welcomed in to see what it was all about as the door was left open during those daytime hours. Quite a few people did come in off the street to see what it was all about and we had multiple visions and scriptures about God sending us out into the community.

The time also saw other Churches Together schemes running from the prayer room such as the Woodbridge Town Pastors and the Healing on the Streets ministry which takes place on a Saturday morning every other week. This time the 24-7 room really saw all these schemes coming together, all the schemes, all the churches and really serving our community from one central point in the town.

 

 

24:7 PRAYER IS BACK IN WOODBRIDGE AT THE END OF MARCH

We have decided to run 24:7 again this year, it will happen for 3 days at the end of March and we are so excited to be looking at doing this again.

This year we are right in the heart of the Thoroughfare in the old Oxfam book shop (next to the Georgian Coffee Shop). The main area will be fitted out simply with a cross, a Bible, a candle and some seating and refreshments. It will be securely closed as last year through the evening and night but will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm each day for those who may wish to look around, ask for prayer or call in to chat about what we are doing.
